Jill Raeburn Wilson

 After obtaining an ‘A’ Level in Art, Jill attended evening classes for a number of years in life drawing, portraits in oils and sculpture.   Following early retirement, she joined Dedham Arts Group in 2001 and was Secretary of the Dedham Art Group from 2010 - 2018.

She particularly enjoys painting portraits in oils, and endeavours to achieve not only a true likeness, but the personality of her sitter.   Continental scenes and landscapes of the British Isles are favourite themes too, often in pen & ink and watercolour.  

 Again, Jill seeks to be true to her subject, and to convey the atmosphere and subtlety of the scene she depicts.​
